Bandawe Secondary School is located near Lake Malawi and Nkhata Bay. It received a complete ICT center in late 2013. It was jointly established by student volunteers from Mzuzu University, FAIR and employees from the ICT department of Mzuzu University.

As of 2017, the centre is hardly operational following a reluctance from the school to call for technical maintenance from Mzuni. This stresses how important it is to implement a mandatory maintenance component. The leadership of the school has changed, and during 2017, the centre will be maintained and brought up to speed with other centres.
